Guitar Lessons at Muse Academy of Music
Our guitar instructors teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical styles on both electric and acoustic guitars. Beginners work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory. Each lesson will challenge you with a new technique or music theory, and ends with something fun – such as your favorite riff or song. We employ a variety of guitar method books based on student needs and preferences, and encourage students to bring smartphones or CDs to their lessons to learn their favorite tunes. Guitar students can easily learn their favorite songs, which is great for keeping students inspired and interested in practicing. But, guitar students here will not miss out on the fundamentals either. All students will be taught to read music, basic music theory, scales and proper technique.

The guitar lends itself very well to improvising, allowing students to easily try new things and explore new and exciting sounds and harmonies!

Guitar Lessons in the Heart of Rancho Bernardo
Our studio is in the beautiful Mercado Shopping Center, right in the heart of Rancho Bernardo. A busy family like yours can hit all their stops in one trip! We have Yoga next door, Karate and Barons Market downstairs. Plus, you can even grab some Frozen Yogurt as a treat for your kids after they do a great job at their guitar lesson!

Purchasing or Renting a Guitar
If you don’t already have your own guitar, we do have guitars available for use during your first lesson. From there, we can assist in the process of purchasing or renting a guitar. You can even rent a guitar from our partner, and have it delivered right to our studio, easy!
