Music Lessons in Rancho Bernardo
Our studio is right across the freeway at the Mercado Shopping Center, just above Barons Market. We are right across the freeway from Westwood, which is why we are the first choice for music lessons in Westwood and Rancho Bernardo.
We are a local family owned music school in Rancho Bernardo with a passion for teaching children and adults. Owners and instructors are husband and wife Steven Kramer (M.M. Yale School of Music, B.A. Columbia University), and Julie Wagner (D.M.A. University of Maryland, B.A. Peabody Conservatory). Together with a group of inspiring professional teachers, we are committed to providing Rancho Bernardo with the most comprehensive and fun music lessons available.
Our curriculum is built around private lessons on your choice of the following instruments:

- Saxophone / Clarinet / Oboe Lessons
- Guitar / Voice / Ukulele Lessons
Students receive weekly individual lessons on their chosen instrument, and perform in exciting recitals throughout the year.

Exceptional Music Lessons For Adults As Well
We are the only music school in San Diego that has an active community of adult music students. 25% of our students are adults, so we know the differences in learning styles and the unique challenges adults face when taking music lessons. Our backgrounds combine conservatory performance training, academic music study, and professional performing experience. We provide a unique, rounded approach to learning music. Monumental Recitals
Our students love performing in our recitals! You can feel the excitement in the air as our students are working toward their goal, perfecting their favorite and most challenging pieces. Our recitals typically have an audience of over 100 proud parents, family and friends. Recitals are held right here in Rancho Bernardo. Plus, unlike other studios, our recitals are offered at no additional cost to you!
Community Performances
Select students can participate in our community performance groups, who perform at fun events like street fairs, farmer’s markets, and other fun events around the Rancho Bernardo community. Most recently, we performed at the RB Alive Street Fair, and had a blast!
No Instrument? No Problem!
We have most instruments available for you to use for your first lesson. Then, you can rent an instrument from our partner online, and have it delivered right to our studio. Easy! We can also consult with you about purchasing certain instruments like pianos and digital keyboards.
